It's easy to look back in hindsight now, but no team would elect to kick a PAT over going for two at the one yard line.

I don't know. I mean it's not crazy, but the pendulum is swinging so hard to risk these days that it's getting to the point where teams are doing it needlessly.

I get that you wanna be within 3. That's fine. But I generally don't like going for 2 unless it's near the end of the game, and you are running out of possessions. You just end up chasing that point the rest of the game if you don't convert.

He 100% had the first down and then they inched the spot back for absolutely no reason, Allen broke the plane of the 40, easily.

It's one thing to reach the ball over the goal line, but it's pretty risky to do that at midfield. Buffalo is lucky to still have the ball.

Well when it’s 4th down, it’s as good as a fumble anyway if you don’t get the yardage …

I thought the exact same thing. They won't give it to him on this review though.

You just know this is going to be stands as called.

But Allen had the yardage.

Now based on my views today this probably will surprise you lol, but if Buffalo scores, THIS is where I'd consider going for 2. It is a low risk and high reward. Miss it, you're up by 7, make it, you are up 2 possessions on Mahomes with 9 or so minutes left maybe. Yes you do risk losing the pressure of KC needing to covert a 2pt, but imo the reward is worth it.

This is why people think it’s rigged for KC. What absolute hot garbage.

Yep...it's been enough at critical points to flat out be rigged, and there's nothing the league can say or do to convince me otherwise.

You knew the Chiefs were going to go down 60 yards like a hot knife through butter after that. And of course they effortlessly get the 2.
