So What topics are we allowed to talk about according to Brewers Fanatic?

If we are only allowed to speak about topics that Brewers Fanatic approves you should list what we are allowed to talk about at the header so we do not step outside of what you want to talk about

I do not know what is and is not allowed to speak on and am always getting moved or erased and want to avoid this . Where are the topic rules we are supposed to know ?

I can't speak for the moderators... But I'll offer you my opinion based on the years I've floated around here. 

Amongst the moderators' main jobs are to keep this community enjoyable for all. That means a lot of things.. but an example is cleanliness. If the Brewers had traded Devin Williams and 16 different people started a brand new thread about it... It would become very messy to follow along with and to consume for everyone. They merge similar topics and convos together to keep the board clean and navigable. If you've had a post moved.. this is likely why. Perhaps before starting a new thread, check to see if people are already talking about it elsewhere and just add to that conversation rather than starting a whole new thread about the same topic.

A second aspect of upkeep I've noticed is the "loud voice in the room" syndrome some folks can acquire from time to time. These boards are meant to be a conversation amongst a community, I believe. Everyone has the right to an opinion and should have a chance to share it. When one poster is responsible for a majority of posts/comments/words in a thread, it stops being a conversation and starts being a lecture. That is harmful to the purpose of these places. If you are having posts removed and are not sure why... Perhaps reflect to see if what you are posting is moving a conversation forward or if you are just venting the same fact/opinion over and over again and are stalemating topics.

This is just an opinion. I could be wrong. Only the moderators could say for certain why they are organizing.

not sure what you are talking about? your thread about Attanasios comments was merged with an existing thread because it was already being discussed. every post is still there. we try to keep it one topic, one thread so things stay organized.

if you have an issue with things getting moved then send a private message to a mod. Opening new threads is not the way to solve it
