Twins at Brewers; Saturday, May 17 @ 6:15 p.m.: Tobias Myers (3.86 ERA, 4.57 FIP) vs. Pablo López (2.77 ERA, 2.51 FIP)

Bauers has been a good player for us this year - but he’s not a quality OF

90% of big league OF make the play he just botched

This is a terrible compilation of mediocre players that is darn near impossible to watch

How did it come to this so quickly?

It is so hard to watch us flounder while watching Chicago & St. Louis succeed

Let's see if the Twins can score in every inning.  Perfect through five.

I believe they are 6 for 6 - something to keep me tuned in … more fun than a no-hitter

Myers is clearly struggling with something. Get him to AAA so he can figure it out and give C-Rod another shot. He's pitching 5 innings of 1 run ball in Memphis as we speak, about to come out for the 6th.

Edit: Nvm he got pulled for Tyler Jay. Point still stands. ERA at 1.99

Difference between last year and this year is the Brewers are getting absolutely nothing from Yelich.  Last year he was playing better and this year he is looking like a DFA candidate.

I think it's largely 10 years of bad drafting and developing hitters.

And most of the guys that put a big numbers in the minors are still flawed that get rapidly exposed by Big League pitching

Yeah okay, I'm done with this game.

You type that as if you are disappointed

As a Twins fan you should be thrilled that your red-hot team is playing an ice-cold Brew Crew

I mean you cannot watch Durbin and Ortiz anymore if you're being serious. It's not serious. You have to call up anybody. Dunn even.

No!  I don't want any more of our young prospects around this coaching staff in Milwaukee.  I'm not joking.  Look how terrible Chourio looks now.

Dude, what is your issue? I don't like seeing the Brewers get their heads stomped in. I don't cheer for the Twins over the Brewers. We've been down this road before, just drop it.

Come on I get you're angry and the pitiful display on the field but you know Brock's not like that

What do you do then? If you have any hope for these two core pieces that you acquired for all star talent you can't just let them hit 125.

I think last year was a version of fool's gold. They weren't supposed to be very good but ended up being a big surprise. Maybe they really weren't that good and it set up unrealistic expectations for this year. You lose Adames and Williams, the almost bankable regression from Yelich. Myers, Hudson and Koenig probably also belonged in the regression club.

I felt this was a 78 win team so I'm not that surprised although what is going on right now is completely unwatchable and worse that even my low expectations.

I'm fine with firing the hitting coaches. Murphy isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, obviously.

I don’t really care for the two hitting coach concept. Too many voices in the ear — more is not always better when it comes to coaching and quantity is not going to substitute for quality.

But the main problem is that Arnold didn’t do a good job assembling this roster. This lineup can’t hit its way out of a wet paper bag. So while I’m good with a new direction to help guys like Chourio get through these stretches and improve, it isn’t going to fix the offense.

Really? It is essentially the same squad that won 90+ games last year minus Willie Adames who’s hitting about 220 out in San Francisco

Why not?  I have no hope for the mediocre players we acquired for all star talent.  IMO that was a fire able offense.  Shameful really.

This is a lost season.  That first series against the NYY was an omen looking back now.  Sell Peralta, Contreras and any other players that will give us a decent return in future prospects at the trade deadline.

BTW I take no pleasure posting this.

I’ve logged as many hours this year watching minor league games (Brewers affiliates) as I have Brewers big league games

Milwaukee is hard to watch but their minor league teams are enjoyiable to watch

I think Brock is great! I also believe he is a Twins fan. I believe he also has a Cubs site. I wish him well as a business man but when these two teams play I don’t believe for one minute that he cheers for a tie.
