So either Carolina's social media team put out the wrong lineup or Luis Pena was a late scratch.

Sounds like he’s probably relaxing/recovering back in Zebulon this week.

No hitter watch for F-Nats. Sheesh. Nothing going even after Sykora exits the game. Perfect game I think for Fredericksburg.

Eduardo Garcia walked, stole second, went to third on a Blake Burke single and scored on a Marco Dinges sac fly in the first.

Hebert Perez went deep in the second for another TRats run.

Then in the fourth Hedbert singled, Daniel Guilarte walked, Jadher Areinamo delivered an RBI single and then Eduardo Garcia went deep with a three run shot to make it 6-0 Wisco.

Yeah I don't think this Carolina team is going to get a hit off Sykora unless it's a fluky type hit. Just supremely overmatched but hard to blame them because a guy like Sykora would probably be in AA in the Brewers system.

Meanwhile, Smith is giving up hard contact here in the third frame. He has a near 0.300 BAA (may be there after these few frames). I've got 101, 107, 108 mph contact this frame? This after two weak infield hits last inning. Four hits in the fifth...and, yet, it is still merely a 2-0 deficit. My point here: lotta hits. Lotta pokes. Don't poke me. I'm merely sharing.

Patricio Aquino went 3 BB | 4 K over three scoreless to open the game for Wisco.

Dikember Sanchez in for the fourth and works around a leadoff walk and stolen bag to put up a zero (1 K).

An 89 mph windstruck fly ball sails over the LF wall in Biloxi. 1-0 Shuckers trail. AND, their ongoing absolutely ridiculous audio/video delay continues. I swear it is always something in Biloxi. The ball hitting the catcher's mitt is already happening before the ball leaves the pitcher's hand. So annoying.

Meanwhile, 107 mph off of Warren's bat to RF. Estimated to go 390 feet. Dies 40 feet shy of the RF wall. 19 mph with gusts up to 32 mph will carry an 89 mph pop up over the LF wall. Yowza.

Two down in the 7th, Mudcats are being 'Perfect Game'd'. 20 up and 20 down. Let's see if the reverse jinx works.

Nope. 7 innings of perfect pitching by the F-Nats. I'd be happy with a walk or a base hit.

I'd really be happy with some runs, but gotta walk (or hit) before you can (score a) run

Ugh and Dikember doing "Dikember '25" things and not "Dikember '24" things - walk the lead off hitter, another and a hit and it's 6-1. He gave a, no make that 2 SBs, and another walk this inning. Base loaded in the bottom of 5, and given how T-Rats have blown some leads, the six run lead they had did not feel as cushy as it should be.

Three straight hits have seen another run cross against Crow. 2-0 Shuckers trail. Crow is featuring a change-up heavily tonight. Interesting pitch development. Sits mid to upper 80's. Crow did see 102 mph and 108 mph off the bat that inning but the 108 mph finished the inning with a hard line out to RF. Weird game.

And a grand slam against and it's 6-5. Ugh.

Crow getting hit and giving up runs.

And Carolina being no-hit.

I may have to call it a night....

Dikember's season is truly one of my saddest developments of 2025. Velo is way down. No control. It's confounding. And, well, it sucks. 😅

Walling breaks up the perfect game with a walk. Four pitches.

Hey alright!

I'll keep staying away from GameDay for a little while longer and see if that voodoo magic will get us more than a walk, I won't say what we want, but even with a walk I believe it is a no-hitter, but not supposed to say no-hitter out loud because it may mess up with the pitcher pitching the no-hitter and wouldn't want to do that would we?

Well done Yannic. Way to save face with a 9th inning single. Too bad Made and Bitonti both flew out to end it. Mudcats lose 2-0.

Yerlin came in for Dikember, and gave up a hit, gets two outs and another hit, and it was tied 6-6.

But overall Yerlin gets 5 Ks in those 2 innings. And Guilarte with a walk and SB, Garcia single and it's a 7-6 TRats lead.

Biloxi still down 2-0, as Crow was getting a little bit as Joseph alluded to earlier.

Hello!  Matt Wood with a walk. Then a Spain 360 ft fly into left and it's a 2 run HR.

Shuckers now lead! 3-2.  Shuck yeah!

T-Rats in rain delay.

Manfredi is in, and gets the first guy out.

Crow goes a full 6IP which is encouraging, no walks, and 2 K. So a decent outing and encouraging he gets through 6.

T-Rats in a delay still

96 lower outer part of the strike zone - borderline pitch - and Manfredi gets it for a K. 2 outs now.

Manfredi is looking good in his current role. .... Wait - let me say that again - Manfredi is struggling and needs to pull it together.

And he gets a deep fly out for out #3. Alright, good job.... I mean you stink Manfredi

Leave it to the Cubs. I mean Uecker is totally a Brewers name and is synonymous with Brewers baseball. So of course they draft a guys named Ueckert 🙄

Super slow  slider at 81mph gets Wilken swinging to end the inning.

But right before that, Lara who had singled, runs to steal second and the ump calls likes it strike 3 on Wilken, the catcher throws it to center and Lara to third base. It was only strike #2. But after a short break, that super slow slider gets Brock to end this inning. Still Shuckers up 3-2. On to the 8th.
