DSL Blue prevails 8-4.

Yoneiker Lugo (double, walk), Angel Gonzalez (double, single, steal), Moises Polanco (three singles, two steals, walk), Frandy Lafond (two singles, walk), Joan Gutierrez (single, two walks, steal), Leonard Rijo (two walks, steal), and Jefer Lista (single, HBP) gave them purt near a whole lineup of multiple reachers.

Jean Rodriguez had the “cleanest” pitching line with 3 IP | 1 R | 0 H | 3 BB | 2 HBP | 2 K…look ma, no hits!! (couple batters notwithstanding)

It’s the ACL Guardians and their 39-man roster (including 4 rehabbing) against the 25-man ACL Brewers.

Brewers lead 3-0 early but just squandered a bases loaded, nobody out opportunity in the top of the 4th inning.

18-year old RHP Carlos Carra is making his 3rd stateside start (9th appearance) for ACL Brewers.

He made it thru 3.2 innings with no hits or walks (2 HBP), but the next 5 Guardians reached base for 4 runs, including a solo homer and bases-clearing double.

Brewers trail 4-3.

RF Garrett Spain has gunned down a runner at 3rd base and also hit a 2-run homer. Biloxi’s up 3-0. Thank you Garrett.

The non-Quero Sounds are still being no hit. Quero2-2 so far. Nashville trails 3-0 now.

Bitonti still just struggling- I mean yes when he runs into a pitch he will hit a homer - but his recognition is not consistent, and he will chase bad pitches, but also miss hitable pitches. He has a long way to go - but has the best power potential. He K’d to end the inning.

Dubanewicz in some trouble but gets out of the from some defensive help it seems (grounder force out at home and a caught stealing), but a DiTuri error got runners on before a 2 run triple triple tied it up.

Lara is 3-4 had singles home another run as Shuckers extended the lead to 4-0.

Well they weren’t no hit but Nashville got pummeled again, shut out 8-0  Myers looked like an ok start, nothing great (6 IP, 9 H, 3Er, 3BB, 6K, 90 pitches).  Quero and Dunn had two hits, accounting for 4 of the 6 total  yikes.

Shuckers with a nice shutout victory as they keep marching along. Kuehner 5.1 shutout innings with 9 K!! Bryant and Yeager keep the shutout intact and cover the other 3.2 innings. And offensively, Lara and Wood with multi-hit games and Spain the big HR. Pratt 1-5 but 0 K.

TRats make a furious comeback -ok well that’s an exaggeration- they come back from 4-1 down to score 2 in the 7th and 1 in the 8th, but give up 2 runs in the 10th and lose 6-4. DeBerry was just ok by stats. No one really had any remarkable night offensively, and Woessner with the loss.

Mudacts win big. 11-3.Dubanewicz (5IP) and Dorchies (4 hitless shoutout innings) combine again to cover the game. Dorchies with a nice start to his low A career.  Dubanewicz done in apparently by defense with two unearned runs. Gave up 7 hits and 0 BB. Offensively it was a true team effort, as every starter reached base (Ordonez hitless with 2BB, Rodriguez hitless with a BB and a SF). The team drew 10 walks and had 9 hits.

OK on to Sunday where Hardin, Meccage and Flores pitch for the 2nd time this week. Nashville is 2-3 this week, Biloxi 3-2, Wisconsin 2-3, and Carolina 4-1.
