Yeah, for as much of a head start as Tatum, Giannis, and Jokic had on their playoff careers it's looking like SGA might be the first superstar of the post-LBJ/Curry Era to end up with two rings.

Not this year.

Winning a championship is hard.

Yeah, now looking like Giannis & SGA teaming up might be the only way to stop Wemby.

They have a lot of resources, so I'd be for that...

Granted, when the Bucks are out of contention, I don't mind cheering for San Antonio... Kind of funny how their history of superstars are all centers.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

OKC has kind of always been the dream fit if they could manage to thread that needle.

One of Jalen Williams or Chet Holmgren as the main salary match, plus whichever combo of Cason Wallace, Nikola Topic, Thomas Sorber, and Ajay Mitchell as young prospects to round out the financials, then they've got #12 and #17 in this year's draft plus a stockpile of other future firsts they could offer.

I think it's a pipe dream. OKC loses a Game 7 in what was most likely the de facto Finals. They are already "there." There's no reason to mortgage all the assets for Giannis when they can get the team incrementally better this summer without giving up anything.

Giannis wants the ball in his hands, too. I'm not sure his ego could handle being in the room with SGA. I like Giannis and all, no issues with anything he's done or said, but he's not he same guy he was even 5 years ago as far as humility goes.
