Question of the week: will the Brewers be the top seed?

They have a significant lead over Philly right now, but that stretch of games was brutal. Will they stay atop the NL?

As of today we have a 4 1/2 game lead on Philly's with Brewers holding the tiebreaker.

I say yes. We'll know more after this weekend in Pittsburgh though. Cubs have the Nats at home, and the Pirates are hot. series wins over St. Louis, Toronto, Boston, and a sweep of the Dodgers since they left Milwaukee.

Should. I’d also like to point out that 1 versus 2 is pretty inconsequential. Both are home for the WC round which is the important thing. I’d be bummed if Philly catches us but as long as we hold off the Cubs I won’t lose sleep over it.

The Dodgers taking themselves pretty much out of the 1 seed discussion lately has been big.
