  1. I’ll hear no more Sanchez slander
  2. Am I missing something? Why would Uribe and Megill not have the 8th and 9th?
  3. Felt like he easily could have beat him to the bag too.
  4. I know we like being reactionary here and the injuries are starting to get concerning, but prior to the last two games the Brewers were 3-0 in their last three series at 7-3 in our last ten. Get a win today and we’re 8-5 in the last 13 and still winning at MLB’s best pace.
  5. Yeah. He's been really bad this year, but he was good last year as a 24 year old. Great defense to pair with a .756 OPS. Maybe this injury really has been messing him up. I'm not a huge Frelick fan and if I had to bet either way, I'd say his tenure in the MLB doesn't last more than a few more years. But it's way too early to give up on him.
  6. We’re at our high water mark of the season, ahead by 5.5 games, and we have the best record in baseball. We’re in a great spot. No use in worrying.
  7. hell yeah Gary. Home plate umps having a rough series.
  8. I don't think May looks bad at all. Not great, but big upgrade from Sproat.
  9. Would much rather play the Cubs than Atlanta. NL playoff field is going to be strong, it is what it is. Gonna have to beat two good teams.
  10. I’m not sure why everyone is so worried about the Cubs. Could they pass us? Yeah. But we’re now two games up in Atlanta for the 1 seed, and that should be the goal. I was hoping for the Cubs sweep and thought most would be.
  11. Somehow Ortiz may be an even better defender at 3rd.
  12. And an easier NLDS matchup, in theory. Would love to avoid the NL East winner
  13. Mis is listed as the starter on the brewers website, sproat Tuesday
  14. We got two starting pitchers with a 3.20 ERA or better. Durbin has a .694 OPS and is entering his prime. I just don’t see it. Will admit I didn’t think his defense would hold up because of his arm, but he’s killing it on that side of the ball.
  15. Starting to think he might just be more comfortable hitting when he plays 3rd.
  16. Did he really do a good job? two of the three hitters hit lasers. Glad it was a zero though.
  17. Have you watched the playoffs the last two years?
  18. Out of curiosity, why do you expect a .700 OPS best case when he was over that every year from 2022-2024, and over .750 in 2023 and 2024?
  19. Agree he’d never sign a long deal here. But he played all year with a broken finger that needed a procedure right after the season. He was a vocal leader and led by example. Really would have been a great guy to reward, and it rubs me the wrong way a bit that they didn’t.
  20. We have one guy who is in there for his defense. Not his bat. That’s Joey. We know he can’t hit. He’s doing his job. We need our other 8 guys to start producing runs. would be great to upgrade at SS but it isn’t happening this year.
