    Was lucky enough to be at the game last night and was able to find the money to go tonight too. My flight leaves tomorrow morning, and selfishly I’d love to see the clincher. Something I never would have dreamed of. But this team is magical and I’m so grateful either way.

    I actually thought May was solid to good in LA. One bad pitch then didn’t let it snowball. but agree you can’t trust him

    You old MFer I was born in 90, but this would be number one for me too. The Packers were good and we got one in my early childhood so I always expected we'd get more. The Bucks was a surprise and I enjoyed the hell out of it, but the Brewers were always my team. And it was hard to envision this team ever competing for anything when I was growing up. Not taking this run of success for granted.

    I thought I was going to hate this week off. But it did give me some time to settle down from the NLCS, reflect on what they’ve accomplished, and build up a lot of excitement for the World ******* Series. Let’s get it

    No argument there. But he’d be replacing a guy who hasn’t pitched yet in a playoff series. I think a solid argument could be made that adding woodruff is a positive or neutral for the team. We’re not removing someone who has contributed to playoff success

    He's not going to be stretched out. I don't think you could consider starting him. But Woodruff or Harrison, who hasn't pitched in either of the first two series? Give me Woody. You're only gonna use his spot for 2-3 innings total in the world series in all likelihood.

    We have two guys on the roster that haven't faced a batter and another who threw one inning. Zero harm throwing Woody into the Harrison role. Plus he's been effective the last two years throwing 90.

    We're now 7 games into this journey. We're 6-1. We haven't used Patrick, Harrison, or Drohan. Assuming we close this out, two thoughts. 1. If Woody is truly healthy and we're not going to use any of these guys, we might as well throw him on the roster. 2. I don't think they'll do it, but we're wasting roster spots in the bullpen right now and it feels like Naylor could be added at the expense of one of these guys so we can use Sanchez more against LHP

    Once the Brewers and Tampa get to 3 wins each, I'm pulling the trigger.

    For what? I don't think Tampa and Cleveland really care if Woodruff is able to give you 4 IP over a 7 game series.

    Flights from Chicago to Tampa are about 330, tickets in the 500s, hotel price a couple hundred a night. Would rather just do that for the same cost and get a few days in the sun.

    Might make sense for me to just road trip to see a road game if that's the case after the presales wrap up.
