  1. Missed all the games this series. Looked at the box scores so I know the results, but how has Romero looked?
  2. Gameday has the pitch clock violation as a strike and a violation on Turang, which would explain it. I didn't see it and have no idea though.
  3. Not that it mattered with the rain this afternoon, but no getaway game time?
  4. Won’t comment on Yelich. But you absolutely do not want your catchers going from squatting to sprinting too often. Perfect way to get injured.
  5. They really are cutting back on Yelich's playing time a little bit. Didn't trust them to do it, but at least he's getting a few days off a week now.
  6. Will be back to 6.5 by midnight. Just keep winning series. 6 of the last 7. Good chance to make it 8 of 9 this week.
  7. Not surprised. Team comes home in a few days. Let him get an appearance in Appleton and rejoin the team when they return home. Not sure about Romero's timeline, but wouldn't be surprised if they want him to rejoin the team at home as well.
  8. Eh. He had 2 good starts and 1 bad start. If he turns in two great games every three I will be thrilled. And that’s kind of how his whole year has been. He’s good to really good most starts. But when he’s bad it’s a complete blow up.
  9. Pretty damn short down the lines. Could be a good game for Sanchez
  10. I looked him up and yeah, never would have guessed. Molitor was 2nd.
  11. Am I missing something? Why would Uribe and Megill not have the 8th and 9th?
  12. Felt like he easily could have beat him to the bag too.
  13. I know we like being reactionary here and the injuries are starting to get concerning, but prior to the last two games the Brewers were 3-0 in their last three series at 7-3 in our last ten. Get a win today and we’re 8-5 in the last 13 and still winning at MLB’s best pace.
  14. Yeah. He's been really bad this year, but he was good last year as a 24 year old. Great defense to pair with a .756 OPS. Maybe this injury really has been messing him up. I'm not a huge Frelick fan and if I had to bet either way, I'd say his tenure in the MLB doesn't last more than a few more years. But it's way too early to give up on him.
  15. We’re at our high water mark of the season, ahead by 5.5 games, and we have the best record in baseball. We’re in a great spot. No use in worrying.
  16. hell yeah Gary. Home plate umps having a rough series.
  17. I don't think May looks bad at all. Not great, but big upgrade from Sproat.
  18. Would much rather play the Cubs than Atlanta. NL playoff field is going to be strong, it is what it is. Gonna have to beat two good teams.
  19. I’m not sure why everyone is so worried about the Cubs. Could they pass us? Yeah. But we’re now two games up in Atlanta for the 1 seed, and that should be the goal. I was hoping for the Cubs sweep and thought most would be.
  20. Somehow Ortiz may be an even better defender at 3rd.
  21. And an easier NLDS matchup, in theory. Would love to avoid the NL East winner
