So, I watched the game last night, and of course that happened. But hey, the pitching continues to roll, and hopefully Harrison can continue it today.

Yelich out again. So what was the hurry in bringing back a guy who is clearly still hurt. Brewers letting him call way too many shots at this stage of his carrer. Go on a rehab assignment and make sure you are ready to play like Chourio and Vaughn did. Come on man.

His back was a little sore after playing. It's not his groin, he's not "still hurt." You're just venting to vent.

You know what you need to do today.

Sounds like it wasn't the groin on the TV broadcast. Said after playing his back was sore, and the coaching and medical staff didn't want to risk it and sat him to avoid a larger issue.

Still not promising. You think a month of rehab and rest on that groin would make his back feel better as well.

Love Yeli, but the man is made out of tissue paper.

Its not a promising sign that it was Sanchez, not Yelich, who was pinch hitting in the 9th yesterday.

Watch the Cubs game, obviously.

Careful, they already think you are a Brewer mole (and Wisconsin resident!) on the Cubs' site.

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.

It is still frustrating to have a wasted spot on the roster.

It does seem like he should have done a rehab assignment to see how he responded to game action before being activated.

Oh, they are fully aware I'm not a Cubs fan. I mention that right off the bat when I start a new site. Most don't care, but a few people get pissy about it. Oh well.

So, today against a journeyman RHP the Brewers have no Yelich or Bauers with Sanchez batting in the cleanup spot. Not exactly putting the best foot forward after a silent night at the plate on Wednesday.

In the month since his last home run, Sanchez has been pretty much deadweight at the plate. In 65 plate appearances he’s put up an OPS of .568. Over the same time period  Joey Ortiz has had 53 plate appearances with an OPS of.584.

The Crew needs to keep the number of ABS challenges up.  That is why he is in there.

In this case it's because he's catching and that's our option for giving Contreras a day off the field, but yeah, it's been fire then ice.

Arguably you could have Bauers at 1B instead of Vaughn, but I'm not going to get too mad about that one.

How do you know? Are you in direct contact with the player? He can't play so therefore he can't be a productive member of the lineup. He didn't test his body in games before coming back which is the point. Stop acting like you are the authority on all things Brewers. It's ridiculous.

Exactly. To act like oh everything is fine the guy has a different injury all is well is dumb.

Thank you. It's amazing how often something that is common sense turns into an outrage here. Black being around for a few more weeks wouldn't have hurt anyone.
