Good thing they don’t have any challenges. That pitch wasn’t close.

No kidding. This ump sucks.

How much longer until the Joey Ortiz saga is discontinued?

Joey just responded to your question. He’ll be on the roster all season unless he gets injured.

I think there are some people here who owe Brandon Sproat a LARGE apology :)

With Woodruff and Sproat on the hill, I would not have guessed that 4 combined runs in two games would be enough for one win particularly at GABP.

Instead, it was enough for two,

Lara 4-4 tonight down in Nash..

He’s going to be fine. Every hitter goes through a slump from time to time like he has this month.

There must be something with the twilight starts at this time of year that makes it hard for the hitters in that park. They did make a comment early in the game about the sun on the batters eye.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

After watching these last 2 starts it is not to hard to dream on championship aspirations and want to go hard after a big bat.

Sproat has shown all the signs, beyond great start. Awesome job by the staff getting him out after the 6th and not risking losing the confidence this start should have.

Misi, Harrison, Woody, Sproat, Drohan, Gasser, Henderson has to be the best or at least deepest rotation if we can stay healthy.

It has to be something.    I don’t think the pitchers on both teams should have been that good.    This might be fools gold

It’s one game.  When he gets his ERA below 4, I’ll start taking him seriously has a starter.  He’s got great stuff for sure, but we’ll see if he’s got it upstairs over the weeks/months ahead.

Given they were in Colorado and Vegas, Sproat has looked rotation worthy in 3 of his last 4 starts now in my opinion.

Seeing Pratt get called and not him probably hurt a bit. Refocus now
