I am entertained watching Kuhnel because he never looks like he wants to be out there.

I'm not sure I ever want him to be out there. But we won!

Finally!  20 games over .500   I am getting too old for stuff like what just happened.  I was literally having flashbacks to some really bad Brewers bullpens from years past.   Gonna be tough to get to sleep tonight.

In a perfect world, we would replace the following players:

Yoho, Kuhnel, Frelick, Perkins + Sanchez & Ortiz

I understand all those players are not going to be moved - by trade, demotion, or release. I also understand that injuries have kept OF Lockridge off the active roster + several pitchers like Hall, Henderson. But we need to address the bottom of the roster.

We are winning at a high level, but this team has significant warts.

More holes than a Vegas brothel and harder to fill.

What's wrong with Sanchez? 125 wRC+ from your backup catcher is tremendous. His job is to crush lefties and he does that.

Enjoy these moments. Savor the fun of beating teams that should be beaten. We get crushed by anyone in playoff baseball.

Pardon me while I figure out a way to beat myself up after a victory.

You know… for how much the Brewers “suck”, they still find ways to win.

crazy

Brewers are 30-17 against teams over .500. The best in baseball.

I get it---we couldn't hit Monday or Tuesday. But the way Woodruff & Sproat pitched in the first two games, I mean, positives are hard to find sometimes when you lose, but when you WIN? When you pick up a sweep on the road, regardless of the opponent? When you give up ZERO ER in 19 innings to start the series, in THAT ballpark? Odd.

Sucked for Yoho/Contreras going away from the changeup on the HR cuz up until then I thought Yoho was pretty solid. I'm guessing Patrick could've used another day, and Anderson was really disappointing. The RBI double that made it 6-2 should've been shaken off as a 'who cares, get back to work' moment but it really seemed to affect him.

I can’t figure out if this was a game we had no business losing or no business winning

More than anything it was probably a game the Reds had no business winning, so we did. If this was "RedsFanatic" all you'd be hearing about was the runners left on base. Brewers' hurlers certainly walked a boatload.

Somehow Gasser, Woodruff, Sproat and Drohan have pitched the last days, we didn’t score in 2 of them, and we won them all.

Braves just lost, so 1.5 games up for the number 2 seed

If you win those close ones against them lead is nice
