"If you go three for 38 with RISP over a four game stretch, and still win all four games...you might be a pretty good baseball team." -Jeff Foxworthy, probably.

Baseball being what it is, I'm guessing league wide teams hit that poorly with RISP often enough that it isn't super rare, but 3-38 still seems awfully hard to do, and to have won all those games anyway is indeed impressive.

Murphy mentioned in Cincinatti that his mechanics are off. He's drifting forward and it's throwing off his whole swing.

More time with the Trajekt machine. And after that, even more time.

Also on the first HR it looked like Shaw did his own silly PCAesqe jump at the wall for a HR I have no chance at.

Dejected PCA is my favorite PCAIMG_3305.jpeg.49d183d3fba3bf40e2fa8fb21a551e7f.jpeg

Part of me wanted Happ to catch the deflection just for kicks but then we wouldn’t have been gifted this shot.

Fielding Bible has Pratt already at 2 DRS? Is that possible after his first 9 games? That would put him tied for 10th (tied with Ortiz) for all of MLB Shortstops?

Fielding Bible

Pretty impressive, especially with 5/5 sb, and 5 bb/6 k.

What until the power comes in down the road.
