LHP Jesus Broca had a birthday yesterday (now 23) and is playing for Yaquis de Obregon in the Mexican Pacific Winter League.

RHP Stiven Cruz, who’s eligible for minor league free agency this offseason, is seeing action with Tiburones de La Guaira in the Venezuelan Winter League.

RHP Gerson Garabito, who’s also set for minor league free agency, is pitching for Aguilas Cibaenas in the Dominican Winter League.

Jesus Made went 0-for-4 with 2 Ks on Saturday; 2-for-4 with a walk, RBI and 2 SBs in an extra inning win on Sunday; and 1-for-6 with an RBI and no Ks on Tuesday.

Nice start to RHP Carlos Rodriguez’s winter campaign: 3 IP, 0 R, 1 H - single, 0 BB, 3 Ks. He touched 95.1mph and earned a save in Toros’ 3-0 3-0 win.

RHP Stiven Cruz is a free agent to be as of Monday. Cruz has already made two appearances in the Venezuelan Winter League, as B-Ref shows us. Point being, unless they sign back with the Crew, here are the players who will be free agents as of Monday, and we won't be providing additional updates on any winter ball appearances:

Recently turned 23-year-old LHP Jesus Broca is off to a dazzling six-game start in his native Mexico.

22-year-old RHP Daniel Corniel allowed two runs in his first inning of work in his home country's Venezuelan Winter League.

Coming off a successful 2026 with the Timber Rattlers, another recently turned 23-year-old, OF Luis Castillo, has made a winter league request of the Brewers, as per Baseball America. If it comes to fruition, we imagine it will be in his native Dominican Republic.

The latest Baseball America transactions indicate that 19-year-old RHP Carlos Galindo, a native of Colombia who has pitched in the DSL the past two summers, was granted a Dominican Winter League request. It seems unlikely he'll see action (we have seen especially young players assigned in past years and then serve a bit of a ghost bench role), but like all the names in this quoted post, the links point to Baseball Reference which includes winter league stats (if any). So, for now, use this post as you reference to check in every so often.

BA also shows that 24-year-old RHP Quinton Low mad a winter league request, although it does not specify which league. Low missed all of 2024 and 2025 before making 25 relief appearances with Wisconsin in 2026 (9.35 ERA, 2.135 WHIP). As this Link Report for the games of August 7th shows (Timber Rattlers section), Low's season ended on a scary comebacker to his face.
