This is not looking good at all. Ohka in the first looked like he was laboring, the Marlin hitters were not fooled by anything, and if not for that double play, we'd be down by at least two runs.

I'm hoping that Ohka can settle himself down a bit and sail through the bottom half of the order and get a bit of steam rolling behind him. If not, we're going to need a bunch of runs.

I think the logic is that the only two guys that can hurt you are Cabrera and Delgado
That's just it walking one to get to the other is sketchy at best. Especially with a righty on the mound, they walked the righty to get to the lefty, who proptly singled. Granted, the single would have scored the run anyway, and the double play ended the threat, but it is still sketchy to intentionally walk a guy with one out in the top of the first.

ahhh, but let us go the lucky rather than good and smart route today.

C'mon Crew make September fun... make TODAY fun

Watching the past two games, I'd like to know how in the heck Florida is in the hunt. After that muffed ball by the second baseman, and then the wild throw by the pitcher, and Conine botching the catch at first which allowed two runs on three errors (2 on one play). How does this team win any games at all? Fla looks like a defensive nightmare.

I agree that they've been brutal this series thus far, but they seem to be doing relatively poorly considering the talent level of the team. With that rotation, they should be way ahead in the wildcard race. They've under performed this year, IMO.

This is just an example of things evening out over the course of the season. Bad luck early, good luck late.

Carlos made some horrible contact there by the way.

And now Billy thinks his last name is Pierre.

Alright, just got back from the Cubs game. Got to see the Cubs lose a heartbreaker in person, and now the Marlins can't seem to do anything right. Today has been a good day.

Wow. Did the Brewers just benefit from three errors in one inning?

Against a pitcher like Burnett, Mr. Ohka would be wise to make these runs stand up. Hell, we might not get another baserunner tonight.

Wearing my heart on my sleeve since birth. Hopefully, it's my only crime.

Oh nO!!! not another bat.

That was pretty heated for a few seconds there.. I wonder what made the kid give up, he probably could have taken that if he really wanted to.. Maybe the guy said something threatening to him , ha..

So somebody pointed out Ohka was laboring after one inning, I haven't seen anything yet myself . . . but my guess is that Yost leaves him in 3 innings too long.
