Hey, does anybody feel badly about the way Wes was treated on Opening Day? I mean, he's a hard worker.

Signed, Ned

Ok, this solid outing by Victor is quickly turning sour. What happened to that great splitter from an inning ago? He's thrown exactly 0 so far in the 5th.

Hey Billy- Could you make a more half-assed attempt at that relay throw?

....No, I think that is about as 1/2 assed as anyone could.

Regarding getting the vampire his third win...

Yeah, right

Bill Hall's ass should be riding the pine after this inning. Ned needs to show these guys that lazy plays will NOT be accepted! What horrible effort by Hall.

Why am I having visions of payback for our comeback vs. the Reds last year when they were up 9-1?

Victor is done, and doing his best to hand his rotation spot to Eveland in the process.

I'm all for moving either Santos OR Ohka to long relief, especially with the way Ohka's been getting tossed around lately.

Problem is... which of the two DO you keep in the rotation? They're both pitching like batting practice pitchers these days...

Yes, it is becoming more and more obvious that Santos is starting to fall apart. Kind of like last year in the second half except this year it will be much more noticable since the Brewers aren't going to fall apart again (knock on wood).

If only Melvin could make a move for a decent pitcher that we could have for the next few years.

He did.

Say it with me: "Dana. Eveland."
