It looks like another 5 and dive for Cappy. "Only" two walks though today so I guess that isn't too bad.

i don't like this idea. ned's gotten himself in trouble before trying to stretch out a starter's innings with a lead (and this is not a comfortable lead considering the opponent)

I just looked, and Branyan has been steady at about .900 all season. It's still a small sample, but he's even performing better than I had imagined.
