That guy reminded me of one of those Chris Farley sketches where he pulls his hair out and acts all self-deprecating.

I thought he looked like an overweight D Sutton

I agree Sheets is always putting us behind early and therefore he is not a #1 stud. I mean he should know he is pitching against Mulder who is not going to give up many runs, therefore he needs to bear down and try harder, be a winner, and realize that if he is going to choose to give up runs he should do it later in the game after we get ahead. He simply doesn't inspire his teammates to score enough runs for him. I say we drop him to our number 2 starter. wink.

Wow, all of our hits and walks have come from the youngsters today. Doesn't look good for today with the rest of the team stinking, but the future looks bright.

I mean he only k'd 7 in 6 innings. He should've had 18 ks. And 3 BBs instead of 0 since he'd walk Puljos every time up.

EDIT:AJAY in the cheesehead?

Look, I'm not implying that he isn't good but I'm tired of mediocrity. Sheets gets another loss tonight and blows a chance to give the Brewers an opportunity to take the series. I would like to see the Brewers win a series against the Cardinals. But then again, maybe we should just accept average as our goal. How about expecting more than the just the average-like a 5-6 record?

Even though I hate watching our sketchy offense struggle so much, seeing JJ Hardy starting become the hitter we knew he could be over the past month has been a real treat. He just looks so much better and more confident at the plate.

That guy that is falling asleep that Bill and Daron are talking about has apparently been wearing that stupid cheese head hat all day long. He's hanging in there though... ya just -know- he's a BF>Netter.
-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.

Other guys with a 3.50 era:

Jon Garland

John Patterson

Kerry Wood

Jeff Suppan

Matt Clement

Actually, Garland, Suppan, and Clement are the only pitchers in that group that have more wins than Ben, and rightfully so with the offenses they have.

I just think a #1 should do whatever it takes to get the job done. If excuses want to be given than why expect anything more than average. Geese, I didn't realize the close community here. No more on this topic.

I'm gonna say that the offense blew it. I mean, how can you blame Ben? He gave them a quality start, you make it sound like he pulled a Santos.
