And just to note, Bennett now with a higher batting average than Moeller, and I think his obp is also higher. Kind of scary

In other happy news, Sox win, Yanks lose, now lead by just 2.5.

AND, apparently Kevin Brown has to go looking for injuries now. He punched a wall and broke his non-throwing hand. Moron.

Now only David has to reach base after Billy got a hit. C'mon Dave everybody else has.

edit: My bad. I am watching gamecast and I thought Dave was put into RF, but Brady Clark is batting again.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif I am now going to punch the wall with my non-typing hand.

Everytime Mike Adams or Vizcaino come in to pitch lately, they make the case for the Brewers to re-sign Kolb.

Yes, these are garbage innings, but Adams has been getting hit too damn hard lately to even consider him to be the closer next year.

Are there no options in the minors? (there are) Does Obermueller get a another chance after doing, at best, passable, but getting a fluke win by getting the run support of a month of Sheets. How many chances does Obermueller get, I couldn't believe it when I saw he was starting today, and though it was cool they won, it wasn't exactly because of him. I did see Pedro for the first time and he looked pretty good. Only wish there were more of the kids playing, I'm pretty sure Krynzel has had enough transition time Ned...

Now Helms will start every single game for the rest of the year!

I didn't watch the game tonight to see how Helms played defensively...but I think Helms is hitting better than Branyan right now. He had almost a .780ops in Aug and is off to a good start in Sept.

I like having Branyans power, but if the trends continue...Helms will start seeing more time.

Well Branyan had a 970 OPS in August and is still better defensively. I hope Helms plays well enough to be attractive to a team that they could trade him to, but I would still much rather start Branyan next year. Or sign someone better than both.

Great game fro the Crew. Nice to see Helms finally hit another HR. I still think Branyan is out guy at 3rd base though. And man what a night for Scotty Po, I said awhile back in a post I would not give up on Po and over the last few weeks he has really stepped up, I hope he keeps it going and has a 2003 type year in 2005. Two in a row GO BREWERS!!!!!!!

Two in a row

and with Hendrickson and De La Rosa going against the Reds, I'm optimistic that we can push that to 4 in a row (and then only 15 below .500). It's a start!

Good God, Helms AND Bennett HR in the same game? Is this some sort of alternate universe we're living in?

Right now, Barry Bonds is sitting at home, and his 5 year-old is striking him out with his 20 mph fastball, and he doesn't know why.
