OK, so let's figure out what hits actually count. First, in all games that a team loses, hit's don't count at all. Second, hit's that do not result in a run or RBI don't count. Lst, hits that mearly add to a lead don't count, since the team would have won anyway.

 

So as you can see, Overbay is really only hitting .059!
