8/10/07 - Brewers (Bush) at Astros (Jennings) - 7:05pm CT

[MoneyballMan]

And now we'll pick around with Ty Wigginton

[BrewCityUnit]

Fielder is either going to hit a double here or go yard

Or not

Did I predict a Bush 3-hitter tonight? I didn't mean all in the first inning! But I guess if that's it.....

[phatmatt1215]

Jennings looks like Cy Young already.

[The Ignitor]

Uke just cursed us... he said Jennings has an ERA over 6.00. That means he'll end up with a line of 8 innings, 10K's, 4 hits, and 1 earned run.

[BrewCityUnit]

If we get shut down by Jennings tonight I will not sleep well tonight. Tonight has to be the night

[bucks2281]

This looks to be the start of yet another frustrating evening...

[adambr2]

6 up, 6 down. If anyone will make Jennings look like better than the 6.11 ERA pitcher that he is, I'm sure we're up to the task.

[MoneyballMan]

I really thought they'd come out looking better than this tonight. Really

[MoneyballMan]

Ok, Graffy's gone for the season, but "dealing with adversity" is a bit of a stretch. The adversity is the poor play of most of our players right now. It's not like we have half our starters on the DL or something.

[MoneyballMan]

Wow, sure looked like they got him.

[MoneyballMan]

That wasn't even close!! What a terrible, terrible call. Where's Yost? I can't believe we just got jobbed on that call and Yost is sitting on his hands in the dugout!

[adambr2]

Bush looks bad, but that was a completely awful call at first base. Baffling to me how a professional umpire could miss that obvious of a call. He needs to retire if he can't see that play correctly anymore.

[The Ignitor]

BS call. Ned needs to pull a Piniella right there.

[Nearsighted Views]

I'd like to see Ned come out more often--you've got 3 of your guys frustrated and arguing. You need to come out there just to back them up. You don't need to go all psycho but a little heart would be appreciated.

[jlau20]

Well I think I'll take this one off. I'm heading out. Hopefully coming home to find a win.

[phatmatt1215]

Please get Dave Bush out of the game NOW!!!!!! He STINKS!!!!!!!!!!

[MoneyballMan]

I just wish I hadn't drunk all that cough syrup.

[MoneyballMan]

Geez, he almost gave up a 3-run double to JENNINGS!

[MoneyballMan]

Alright, DP here and then stick that ball up the first base umpire's..... ah......cap.

[phatmatt1215]

I say get someone up in the pen to put the fear of God into Bush that he is gonna be removed already. Maybe that will shake him up.

[adambr2]

Please get Dave Bush out of the game NOW!!!!!! He STINKS!!!!!!!!!!

Serious question -- who would you like to see them go ahead and replace him with here in the 2nd inning?

[Oldcity]

I just cannot believe that Garner hits Biggio at leadoff. It's astounding.

[The Ignitor]

Obviously, phatmatt125 has not been paying attention to our bullpen very much. U really want Villanueva in right now? Or Wise? Not trying to call you out, only that I we have no option but to cheer for Bush working his out of the jam.

I should probably let him respond, but I'm assuming that was frustration. Although I assume Yost will want to use CV this evening (as usual), so you may as well get him up right away.
