8/10/07 - Brewers (Bush) at Astros (Jennings) - 7:05pm CT

[MoneyballMan]

Alright, JJ - make believers of us again!

[phatmatt1215]

I swear to (whichever deity you believe in) if Bush gives them the lead back right away, I am gonna scream bloody murder on his head.

[Fear The Chorizo]

only the Brewers get only 2 runs out of that inning...

[MoneyballMan]

only the Brewers get only 2 runs out of that inning...

Yeah, as nice as it was to tie it up again, they should have gotten at least one more run across there.

[The Ignitor]

Someone really needs to dress down this team for strikeouts when a runner is at third with one out or less. It seems like every game we strand an easy run at third with bush league, and I mean bush league, at bats.

[Jim Goulart]

IGT fodder:

Is Ned Yost capable of growing a beard? I mean, he has either the best razor in history, shaves five minutes before each game, or is just incapable of doing so.

I mean, Bobby Cox is infamous for scratching a day's worth of stubble for that gruff look.

OK, back to the game.

[The Ignitor]

YES! A starting pitcher completes 6 full innings and the team is still in the game!

[Jim Goulart]

Joe Dillon or Craig Counsell here?

[adambr2]

Something sad:

Our starting pitcher just gave up 4 earned runs, pitched 6 full innings -- and I am thrilled about it.

[MoneyballMan]

NICE!

Here, Yost - watch Garner.

[adambr2]

Oh, shut UP, Garner, Hirshbeck owes us, that's for sure, at least that one was extremely close and excusable.

[Oldcity]

Third blown call for that first base ump tonight.

Edit: At least that was a close play.

[Brewcrewin07]

Ok, IF the Brewers take the lead here, DO NOT go to Linebrink in the bottom of the inning Ned. Hold him back, and use him to close tonight. Coco+State of Texas=bad news. Go with Shouse, Turnbow, then either Linebrink or Coco depending on the lead.

And he's up in the pen now.....http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/mad.gif

[brettac1]

Joe Dillon is a hittin' machine.

[Oldcity]

Excellent ABs from Rickie tonight.

[dlk9s]

Rickie Weeks will break Bonds' walk record. Book it.

[cruiserx43]

Weeks just walk 3 times a game and I'll be happy even if you are batting .212

[phatmatt1215]

WOW!!!!!! I am REALLY impressed with Rickie.... At least tonight, anyway.

[MoneyballMan]

Very good sign for Weeks - 3 walks.

[Brewcrewin07]

Now, time to redeem yourself Ryan. Do it now!!

Edit: Another terrible AB for Ryan.http://static.yuku.com/v2//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/mad.gif

[MoneyballMan]

Wow, Hart almost beat that out.

[MoneyballMan]

Cubs, 4-0

[adambr2]

Hart was definitely out there, but that was actually a lot closer than the blown call earlier in the game where Lane was called safe.

Agree. If Lane was safe, Hart was safe as well.

[MoneyballMan]

Damn
