I love Brauny, but I find it hard to believe he is actually hitting .343 w/ RISP this year. He sure has struggled mightily in clutch situations recently. It's obvious he is trying to do to much by the horrible pitches he's swinging at in those situations.

Another awful at bat with a runner in scoring position.

I love Ryan Braun and all (he is, after all, the Second Coming), but man, has he been bad in clutch situations.

It's amazing that a player as hot and effective as Ryan Braun can look so bad at the plate on any one plate appearance.

 

Like, they say, even the best fail 70 percent of the time (or 66% in Ryan's case).

For the record, my "another awful at bat with runners in scoring position comment" was not directed at Braun in particular, but the entire team, which seems to have the strike out curse in a situations where putting the ball in play in any way will likely safely advance the runners.
