But if they were going to take him out, why not let Bush or Suppan bat? Guys that are good with the bat that have gotten regular batting practice the entire season, and have actually faced a major league pitcher in the last month.

 

I don't know if it's a good idea to take parra out or not, but letting him hit and then taking him out was stupid. That was a missed opportunity.
