Jeremy Jeffress suspended 50 games

MLB suspended RHP Jeremy Jeffress for 50 games for using a drug of abuse in violation of the minor league drug prevention and treatment program. This isn't a performance-enhancing drug suspension. Jeffress was caught with marijuana or another illicit drug. The 2006 first-round pick won't be allowed to resume pitching in minor league games until next May.
