Lets give some props to Soup.

Jeff really pitched well tonight. After the homer he only gave up one hit. Jeff has pitched better in the last month. I only wish some people who seem to criticise him at every turn would get off his back.

One can only hope he'll keep it up. I would have no problem whatsoever with Jeff Suppan winning the NLCS MVP again this year.

Now if we could only find somebody to make his first 25 starts every year we would be set for the duration of his contract.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Yeah, he got grilled in the in-game forum, but he really gutted out a pretty decent start and gave the team a chance to win (which, amazingly, it did). As others have said, he just made one "bad" pitch. I know that he hasn't been Cy Young-caliber this year, and he's getting a ton of money, but I could name several other guys who have been more disappointing (Hall, Cappy, etc.).

I'm going to lock this based on the lead post being In Game Thread material. The follow-up replies haven't really 'rescued' it. In contrast, the Props to Weeks thread frames Rickie's performance based on a stretch of games.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
