Odd Windows Problem

For some reason, the "task switcher" window pops up at totally random times. (The Alt-Tab window) It pops up, and then freezes there and won't go away. Everything still works, except the keyboard, and the little window stays on top of all other windows. To get it off I have to either log out and log back in or restart the computer. It is super annoying.

 

Does anyone know how I might go about fixing this? Is there a way to just disable the Alt-Tab task switcher?

I had a similar issue that was dirty keyboard related; have you tried blowing out your keyboard with a compressed air canister?
