The Astros looked a lot like the Brewers there. lol

If the Brewers pitch and hit exactly like the Cubs that game they lose almost for sure. There were a number of strong plays that we simply do not make especially that last one.

The fact is, the Astros should have won that game. Pence going to third was a bonehead play (though he did appear to be safe, hard to say since WGN didn't even show much of a replay). But if he just stays on second there, moves to third on the IF single then scores on the fly ball, it's 3-3 in the 9th there. Then, on a swinging bunt like that, the runner has to go from third...he would have made it easily for the tie game.

It's really frustrating to watch a team like the Cubs seem to get all the breaks....

There are certain guys you don't run on: Soriano, Francoeur, Jenkins, etc. He was clearly out.

I thought karma was in full play once Loretta got that lucky hit. Coop even did something Garner never would have done: pinch hit Lamb for Wigginton. That was absolutely the right play, and it turned out well. Can't blame Coop for pinch hitting with Munson, and we all know how it finished. Oh well, we're back where we started; two teams tied atop the great NL Central.

the Houston feed showed the play about 3-4 times. He was out, albeit very close to being safe.
