bullox to Las Vegas for cash considerations

I actually made the move two weeks ago, but I just remembered that I wanted to do one of these threads.

 

To be honest, I sweat more when I was loading up the truck in Milwaukee than when I unloaded it in Las Vegas, and I did it at the same time of day. So yes, it is a dry heat. Sure it is 100+ every day, but more comfortable than 80+ and humid in Milwaukee.

 

The move had several reasons - work needed someone out West, and I have family out here (my dad and 3 uncles) so it was a no-brainer for me. With a raise on top of it (cash considerations).

 

I like it so far. Caught the UW-UNLV game last weekend.

Yeah, no problem there... I'm not big on casino gambling. I might play a small game of poker with friends, but that's it. That's one of the reasons that I had no problem coming out.

Las Vegas 51s play there...I believe they're the Dodgers AAA affiliate.

Vegas is a great town to live if you can stay clear of casinos, and that sounds like you're away from that scene anyways. Enjoy it!

Was actually in Vegas last week. Went to the UW pep rally, tailgate party, and had first row tickets to the game!!!

 

I love that town, in small doses. I couldn't live there. No way. Way too much to distract you from clean livin'. Four days of Vegas is my limit.

 

I'd weigh 300 pounds if I was a local. At least.

nice...congrats to moving to a great town. I'm a mere 4 hours 15 mins away in Phoenix, and find myself usually making 2 trips per year there to meet Wisconsin friends that are going for 48 hours
