While I would definitely prefer Cain or Lincecum in any package with Hall, another guy that I have always liked a lot has been Jonathon Sanchez. I have wondered why the Giants haven't just put him in the rotation, leave him there, and let him have his growing pains. I am not sure that I would do Hall for Winn and Sanchez, but it wouldn be muh closer than if they try and put a guy like Lowry in a deal.

Sounds like Doug should send Jack Z himself, along with a few of his henchmen to check this guy out. If they think there is a possibility that he is "all that and a bag of chips", take Yohannis Perez along to pimp the Brewers organization.

Linceum or Cain, plus Winn for Hall would be the steal of the century. Completely unrealistic, even taking Winn out of the equation.

Not a bad suggestion and I like Sanchez as well. Winn, Sanchez, some of Winn's salary for Hall sounds pretty reasonable.

I don't get how trading Hall for Winn and Sanchez solves any of our problems. We still need to find a 3rd baseman or outfielder still if that move were to happen.

It depends on what one's thoughts are on Sanchez. Personally, I still think he can be a dominant lefty out of the pen or a good starter. As I stated above, it doesn't mean that I would be for a deal like that. My biggest concern about that kind of deal would be having another deal in place with Sanchez or other starters used to acquire a 3B.

Only way a Hall deal works if you are able to maybe get Alexi Rameriz to sign here and be either our CFer or 3rd basemen... I dont know how he would be at 3rd.... then you have Winn in Left..... Rameriz in Center..... Hart in Right

 

Then 2009 season you have laporta in Left...... ARAM in Center...... Hart in Right

 

 

But I still would rather have us get Mike Cammeron....I know not a lefty bat, but hey we have a ton of lefties on the Bench(Counsell, Gross, Gwynn)
