This kind of gets me thinking, would anyone be able to date/marry/etc. someone they thought had a terrible taste in music? It doesn't seem like a big deal, but I honestly don't think I could date a girl who listened to 80s Hair/Metal Bands and/or country.

I'm hard rock/heavy metal 90% of the time, and my wife's CD collection consists of Wilson Phillips, 2 Chicago cd's, the Statler Brother's Christmas, and an Oak Ridge Boys cd.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, my wife has horrible taste in music and we really don't like the same types of movies either. However, we have a very strong marriage of 14 years...so go figure.

Anyone who says that rap is crap is clearly only basing this opinion on the rap that they hear on the radio/tv. If you based your view of rock music off of what you saw on MTV, you'd think that all rock sucks.
