Or CC can just pull Thames for a righty and we can avoid him making a sure out the rest of the game. Great thinking by CC there. I get that he’s been bad lately but you don’t want to blow a guy than could pop one any at bat now.

No problems with this delay. Crew going to the BP anyway, and maybe this takes Nova out of the game.

Dickerson hit a long foul ball in his first at-bat, and in this at-bat hits a missile. Ouch. Another low, inside breaking ball. Like I said, Dickerson was well ahead of the first inside breaking ball from Chacin earlier but this one he crushes. Poop.

Pun intended? This series has me more nervous than any remaining series the Brewers have. For whatever reason, playing in Pittsburgh doesn't give me a ton of hope; but, I love to be wrong.

If Chase struggles this inning, do they pull him? Off day Thursday and all. I realize that seems a bit extreme but wonder how many arms they have available tonight after losing 2/3 to the Pirates over the weekend and having an easier night last night.

And their other ones are any better?! Thankfully Jason Abraham has been outdone on the creepiness by the "One Call, That's All" guy, but I do enjoy him holding the bat. Watching him swing it may be more painful than watching him talk.

This team right now... And why does Jordy Mercer always hit well against the Brewers? Yeah, that's an out, but it was almost an extra base hit for him. Again. He seems to wear out Brewer pitching.
