  1. I'm with you. Brewers showed why they're so tough there. They locked the Cubs down and gave themselves plenty of chances to score and just didn't get the hit or got themselves out. They have some horses tomorrow should they need them.
  2. They really bailed out Taillon with that bunt attempt. Lockridge had a 13 pitch AB his previous AB. If it fails, then you're counting on Ortiz for a big hit. Predictable outcome.
  3. Is that how this thing works?
  4. Yeah the Dodgers look good. Phillies had a chance to take them in game 1 and blew it. Looks like they're toast tonight. Fans booing, lol. Typical Philly.
  5. You hate to see it.
  6. Interesting discussion regarding Ashby. He's really been throwing well lately with great stuff and it may have been a plan for him to be more involved in the playoffs, I'm not sure. I do like the idea of getting through the lineup and lefties one time before Priester comes in with a completely different look and potentially the ability to almost finish the game off, if things go to plan. Big IF.
  7. The forum should be ignoring you.
  8. Tell me when I last posted there. And tell me if I was pretending to be a Cubs fan. Read my posts and tell me if I was doing the same level of 8th-grade level trolling you are. Since you're first post it was obvious you were a Cub fan. I'm not saying you can't post here, but you're not going to be treated like anything other than an annoying dork, which you are.
  9. I would love to tell it to your face that you're an annoying dork.
  10. Why, because your favorite team might lose today?!
  11. The only thing I can think of is trying to get Yelich as many at bats as possible?
  12. Insane take. Fickell is being paid a ton of money and he's not made the roster any better since he's been here. What's worse, is that he somehow is a worse gameday coach than Chryst. It's just a matter of time before he's rightfully cast off.
  13. I don't really care that there are commercial breaks, but must there be so many? Touchdown. Commercial. Kickoff. Commercials. Any chance for advertising is a lengthy break.
  14. Apathy from the Chancellor toward UW football and a moron in charge of the AD trickles down to general cluelessness on the football field from the headcoach who is in over-his-head, combined with NIL and BIG expansion has lead to a bad product in Madison. I don't fault any who have given up their tickets until things change (on what UW can change). The schedule softens next season, but I have zero faith in Fickell to get this program moving in the right direction. He'll bring in another 5th yr senior at QB next season and Carter Smith will probably transfer and we'll see more of the same of mediocre play, zero development, and just waiting for UW to pull the plug. Hopefully Mac goes with him.
  15. This has been a really frustrating series. They basically have done anything right, and had no luck in doing it. Some bad at bats, and when they've had good at bats they've hit it right at a fielder. The pitches to Hellman that he went deep on both times were terribly executed or poorly thought out. Flush the series and move on, but yeah this one really angers me.
  16. This is basically where I am at. No major injuries, just get through the games and try to win a few here and there. The Brewers are in a great spot and we're seeing nagging injuries all throughout both leagues.
