  1. K's aside, I've viewed him as a starter. Just wish the guy could stay healthy. The ceiling for Mitchell is incredible, IMO.
  2. Nice ABs by Hamilton and Perk here in the top of the 3rd.
  3. Kelenic also turned down a nice extension, didn't he? Wonder if he's regretting that.
  4. I don't know if this is the best place to put WBC comments, but watching Bichette Jr.. dude doesn't seem like he's in great physical shape.
  5. Might want to recalibrate your sarcasm meter.
  6. Man, what a baby. A well-paid baby, but a baby.
  7. Mac is a moron and should be fired but the program was smart not to give this much money. After next season he's going to want double or he'll walk. I know Fickell needs to win now but he has bigger areas of concern. Keep the guys you have and find a QB and OL/DL.
  8. Latimer is probably (maybe? who knows) a great college RB but I'm fine with someone who left at the last minute to go to West Virginia, a school I'm not sure they ever visited. Whatever. College football is dumb.
  9. Probably about tree-fiddy.
  10. Not Reddit
  11. Latimer is going to WVU.
  12. I have a hard time believe UW wouldn't have a need for him at DE. You take the talented kids and find spots for them. I don't think UW is in a position they can only put a talented kid in one position.
  13. I thought Minnesota did a good job of making a lot of quick, short passes to make some ground and then broke a few big plays. Basically all they had to do. Carter Smith has potential. He missed a lot of wide open guys today. Sure would be nice for him to get more practice time and another exhibition game. I basically have zero faith for 2026 but maybe I'll be surprised.
  14. Maybe Cruz will "try harder" when he's on a team that is trying to win rather than just going through the motions like the Pirates have been doing.
  15. If it's not obvious, I don't think 3 runs for the Jays will be enough to win.
  16. Maybe donors are going to give Fickell, and Mac, one more season and then pony up to dump the two of them. How can this department and university expect anyone to renew tickets for 2026 with this staff. They've shown zero ability to coach up their players.
  17. Stop me if you've heard this before, but Mac just created another PR blunder for the UW. He's hoping this letter would've invigorated donors to send cash, but instead it's become the laughing stock of the conference and met with anger amongst UW fans. Not sure if he's just hoping to buy some time but it's obvious Fickell just needs to be fired and seems he and Mnookin both understand this.
  18. I don't know how Fickell is the head coach of this team in 2026. Keep Alvarez as far away from the decision on who the next AD should be, too, because Mac is junk. Some real dark days ahead for UW athletics and it wasn't that surprising to people who had interactions with Mac before and while he was associate AD. The Fickell hire is looking like a massive disaster that we can't ignore anymore (hard to ignore it before this season for most, not for some).
  19. If they trade Peralta, they need to get back a solid piece, IMO. I don't think that will happen, either. Maybe it will. The Brewers may just need his innings more than they need to trade him. I personally would wish Woodruff well and let him get his money elsewhere unless there aren't any offers and he wants something team friendly. There are enough openings out there so I suspect a willing team will offer him a few year deal for league average $ and I think he should take whatever he can get. Love the guy but I'm just not sure the Brewers should invest any serious money into him at this point.
  20. It's going to be difficult for me to blame the pitching in this series.
