  1. OK, that's two plays that Villar should have handled this inning. I was thinking, "he's going to have a shot at home," right off the bat. Frustrating that it's not even an out and a runner is now in scoring position.
  2. Milwaukee would be the perfect place to do it. Memories of Steve Sparks and phone books.
  3. Jake Arrieta just limped off the field with what looks like a hamstring injury. Tried to make a pitch to see if he could go and it was awkward to say the least. We'll see what happens with this..
  4. "Brewers need a big hit. And Arcia hits one deep...!" Good call, Brian. After Arcia's at bats earlier, I didn't have a lot of faith in him getting a hit here. He just seemed more jumpy than usual in the box. Tie game!
  5. Braun had some good pitches to hit that at bat and didn't really get good wood on any of them.
  6. No duh moment: important for Hughes to keep it at 1 and give them a chance in the 9th.
  7. Wow, when is the last time the Brewers have caught a break like that where a dribbler through the infield scores a runner from 1st? Got a lead now! More runs!
  8. Nice double by Thames and he's in scoring position, but wish he was a bit faster to get to 3rd there when the ball trickled to Zimmerman. Z can't throw worth a crap and Thames' momentum might have allowed him to get into 3rd easily. Ah well.
  9. You must have missed all the posts saying "he doesn't throw enough strikes" and "ignore the ERA, he hasn't been very good." I'd hardly call that "hate".
  10. I can't decide which offense looks more inept at the moment.
  11. [sarcasm]Yes, that was clearly Sogard's fault.[/sarcasm] The error is Vogt's, but that's a ball that a middle schooler would catch. Sogard took his eyes off it even though with that crappy of a throw there wasn't going to be a play at the base. Catch the ball and the runner doesn't advance; but, inning over anyway.
  12. Catch the ball, Sogard. Vogt can't throw, might as well just put it in his pocket and avoid another error to advance the runner to 3rd.
  13. Well, Perez would have been out by a mile had the throw even been decent but it wasn't and hurray, a lead!
  14. Why the Brewers such Garza h8rz?
