Maldonado havin' himself a game. Always liked this guy's bat - a great option at C.

That was monumentally stupid with Weeks up there who still strikes out a lot, not to mention, you don't know if running Braun there gets in Weeks' line of sight. He had a good pitch to hit and completely whiffed it. Man, things like that just drive me up the wall. You wonder how many pitches that saved Price that inning.

I'm watching LA/ATL, and Vin Scully is really annoying me. I know he's one of the best and all that, but holy crap is he annoying right now. Non-stop talk and his voice is never changing tones. Really hard to listen to right now (while I'm in a bad mood).

This. The pitching mistakes are under a microscope now but this stretch of ugliness is all on the offense.

There's our 8th inning guy, giving up 8th inning runs again. 1,2,3 9th coming with at least 1 K, and 2 weak groundouts. Hey Ron, any time you want to get Smith out of this role, it would be good for the team. Or, just get him out of the game.
