  1. Cool, more screamers in the stands. I wish people would just shut the hell up.
  2. I saw that error on the SS coming all the way. Just had that feeling.
  3. Aramis squared up a few balls yesterday. Maybe he's close to breaking out of his slump.
  4. Someone needs to tweet Casey McGehee's 2011 ABs/production at the guys on MLB Network (look at you, Mitch Williams and Darryl Hamilton). They said the Brewers gave up on McGehee after a good 2010. He had 600 plate appearances in 2011 and OPS'ed at .626. 2012 wasn't much better. The Brewers gave him plenty of chances in 2011 to see if 2010 was just a fluke.
  5. Gindl doesn't have the numbers to back this up, but it seems like he's really squaring the ball up and spraying it. Of course he's had a few bounce outs here and there, but sooner or later those line drives still start finding grass.
  6. Brewers pitchers have been junk tonight. Everything up. Edit - junk might be too harsh. The offense has been worse, too.
  7. Except a lot of those pitches were up and were hit hard or hit into the outfield. Point is - they were still hits, and he hit a batter. Tonight hasn't been that great for him, but true, could have been worse.
  8. Plays some nice D... maybe he's just not getting enough ABs? Either way, he leaves a lot to be desired at the plate. I've never been too excited with him but it is what it is. I'd rather have him out there than Herrera. Yeah, true enough. That's not saying much, though. I don't have a problem with Schafer as a 4th OF type guy, it's just the people that are way too high on him and thinking he is a future "3 WAR" player that I don't understand. I agree. I think I actually got into a pretty lengthy argument on this site regarding the whole "over-valuing" of prospects. And I think Schafer was the prospect in question.
  9. Every time there is a fly ball at that park, I think it's going to be a homerun.

  11. Yo is straight dealing early on - knock on wood.
  12. Not a big surprise. Better to rest him now than have him miss a month later on, but this still sucks.
  13. Just noticed you're from GF MT. Finn. Are you watching from the Playground? Nope, I'm far away from that place.
  14. Yep. You hit the nail on the head there... another costly double play ball. He's just not the same player after getting plunked in the knee a while ago.
