Quite possibly biting the bullet for one of his players. Definitely biting the bullet for Herrera's mistake. If he actually instructs his players to run on contact on 2nd and 3rd - no matter how many outs - I seriously have to question why he would have a job. -

So, RRR takes out the leading hitter on the team for a pinch runner who doesn't know how many outs there are. I can only assume RRR was going to let Reynolds swing once and then drop down the suicide squeeze. This game is really, really making me pull my hair out.

What is it with this team and bunting? If Lohse was up there to bunt, just bunt and stop messing around. What a stupid at bat. At least it wasn't a double play.

I'm watching one more half inning. I was out hitting golf balls for the start of the game, and I turned it on and Segura grounds into a double play. One more half inning of the offense and I'm going to turn it back off. Maybe I'm bad luck.

Not to mention, he really didn't have a stressful inning or never had to make stressful pitches until the 9th inning, and even then with the 5 run lead it wasn't like the outcome was ever in doubt.

When you pitch a complete game shutout, it's good for 2 wins.

This offense is pathetic. I know Teheran is a pretty good pitcher, but they guys couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat. And when they get a runner on - leadoff double by Lucroy - you have a couple stiffs in the 2nd half of the order that doesn't know what they're doing or just simply can't.
