  1. Definitely safe. Keep the damage at 1 run here and the Brewers have 2, 3, 4 up in the 9th.
  2. Just like that, we got ourselves a tie ballgame! Great to see Reynolds hit two opposite field homeruns this series.
  3. Wow that was an awesome play by Bianchi. I'm wondering if Braun gets drilled here. Just a hunch..
  4. Gomez probably overreacted to Cole saying something about him watching a ball that wasn't even leaving the yard. Was that Grilli that Rickie had in a headlock and then was punched in the face by Maldy? I think a lot of teams in the league are a little tired of Gomez' antics, can't say I blame them. I'm glad he's a Brewer, but I would NOT like that dude if he were playing for another team.
  5. Who was that long-haired guy from the Pirates that Maldonado clocked?
  6. Good Lord. 4-1 to now 6-4 and the inning should have been over at 4-1. Great job, defense.
  7. That was a man-sized homerun by Reynolds. Opposite field, halfway up the bleachers.
  8. Looked like Morton didn't like what the pitching coach had to say.
  9. I was hoping for the same thing. Harsh? Maybe.. but time to send a message to these idiotic outs the runners keep running into. It should be 4-2 right now.
  10. Another leadoff baserunner wiped out with a ridiculous stolen base attempt. Gennett actually looked like he slowed down when he slid. I think RRR has a card that dictates the classic situations. "leadoff runner gets on, pinch hitter, 5th inning or later: BUNT"
  11. Smart win by the Brewers today. I couldn't watch the game, but did Wily pitch intelligently (pitching outside) or were the Cardinal hitters just dumb today?
  12. Smart win by the Brewers today. I couldn't watch the game, but did Wily pitch intelligently (pitching outside) or were the Cardinal hitters just dumb today?
  13. I will say that is IS much easier to play baseball from your couch than actually playing the game itself.
  14. Most of the quoting is my fault. I found his posts funny in a "I can't believe you actually said that" type way. His in-game posts have been driving me nuts the last two games; funny how losing brings that out in posters.
  15. Henderson throws one down in the zone and toward a corner and Holliday hits it out. What a stupid pitch. He should have gone high and tight..or high and outside... or outside.. or was it just high? Crap.
  16. So I take it that's a no, to either of my questions. You'd lose your team in the first five games.
  17. Personally, I don't care about them. I just want the Cardinals to lose.
  18. You should apply to be Brewers' pitching coach. You can bark at these guys to quit throwing the ball right down the middle. Stupid pitchers! Pitch to the corners! Every time! There's more to it than that. The first thing i'd say is don't be like Estrada and throw a strike EVER when you have the batter 0-2 and 1-2. I'd go as far to say i will remove you from the game or switch catchers if you EVER do that. What if it's a called third strike right on the outside corner. You're going to pull your pitcher out of the game - and the catcher - for executing a perfect pitch? Have you ever played competitively, or coached?
