  1. Prospects in the Padres system:
  2. Looking forward to seeing him being traded for another All-Star going to the Padres. 😆
  3. What the hell; I had to pinch myself and think, "that Shelby Miller?" Didn't the Brewers have him a few years ago?
  4. I would be curious to hear more about the deadline and any deals that were "in the works" but could never get across the finish line. Totally understand fans being a little disappointed but also can understand not wanting to give up prospects for any rental for 56 games. Really fun deadline otherwise. Looking forward to seeing how some of these trades pan out.
  5. Prospects are less valuable when you can spend as much money as you want.
  6. Whenever I see pieces traded that I think might help the Brewers, I'm of two camps: 1) Should the Brewers have made that trade? 2) At least they're not going to the Cubs. I hope the latter continues and we'll see about the former.
  7. Gunnar Henderson for Cooper Pratt Jeferson Quero Logan Henderson KC Hunt Throwing stuff at the wall
  8. Their long-relief role/spot roles could be extremely valuable as starters are sometimes only going 2x through an order. I think they both have big roles on the team going forward and next year even if in those roles and then getting some spot starts when it makes sense.
  9. He would be good regardless of Jackson's leg. There are a lot of pieces I would give up for multiple years of Kwan.
  10. Seigler got all of that one, lol. Oh well, way to tie it up. I won't complain about a sac fly from the 8th hitter.
  11. You'll have to excuse Scoot; he has some seriously unreal expectations of our prospects.
  12. That's probably the best way to put it. I don't expect a lot of pop and exit velo from Durbin or Collins (as regulars) but I know they're going to be a tough out and generally make good swing decisions. I am not seeing anything even close to that with Ortiz.
