    I get being upset in the moment but he's been one of our best offensive players. He botched that play and maybe cost the game tonight but he's hardly the most disappointing aspect of this team, IMO.

    Hudson doesn't have the heat like he had last year. Unless I am missing something. Thought he was throwing gas last year but his fastball doesn't seem to have nearly the same life.

    You could see right as the batter made contact that Patrick knew he made a mistake. He didn't make many tonight. Offense was likely going to need more than 4 so time to get some ABs together.

    The inning of getting Chourio and Collins on with no body out and 3, 4, and 5 not scoring runs may end up being the difference. We'll see if Mears can work out of this.

    Seeing highlights with Blake Burke.. is he in OK shape? He looks like a big guy but not necessarily a strong guy. Big as in kinda doughy. In any other realm I would never question someone's weight but as a professional, he seems like he's not in the best shape. I know he's a 1B and he can be bigger, but tell me I am overreacting to something trivial with him?

    Bad games against bad teams happen. I would probably give Yoho another few outings before declaring he sucks. The offense today was bad. Several bad at bats and generally punchless.
