If the starter today for the A's - Boyle - learns command, look out.
  2. yfinn6
They look pretty much the same today.
  3. yfinn6
Hard to win ballgames when the offense is swinging a piece of cooked spaghetti.
  4. yfinn6
    Well, there you go Mitchell.
  5. yfinn6
I'm not sure why that quote is attributed to me, but what the hell I'll respond anyway. I would rather Perkins, Mitchell, or Frelick play in CF next year assuming there are no rosters moves with bats, and probably in that order. Assuming Yelich is DH'ing as often as he's in left field. Mitchell and Frelick really need to start putting barrel to the ball but that's probably another discussion entirely.

Or in some cases or most cases in MLB, he's just not hitting them (or even swinging at them).
  7. yfinn6
Does he need to, though? Not trying to play Devil's advocate here and I don't know how much data or information is out there but it seems - to me - that saving his legs and less running, etc, in a corner spot might make him a better offensive weapon. Now, if the Brewers feel he can handle CF and they find a corner OF bat that is strictly a corner OF (like Yelich) then I can see that move. But for now, I feel like's fine in a corner spot.

Nah, this is one of those "I come in with rationality after the fact" posters.
  9. yfinn6
More stupidity. Not only can you not read, you also can't communicate. Sad.
  10. yfinn6
What a stupid post. Which is par for you. Hours of sleep has no bearing on telling you you're being passive aggressive. Your initial post in this thread wasn't called for, I pointed it out, and you're taking your ball and going home. Buh bye. Get sleep yourself. Or don't.. don't care either way.

No I just wonder what the point was in coming into an in-game thread in probably the most frustrating loss of recent memory (last 2 months) and throwing some shade at people being upset at Williams staying in far too long. You can post whatever you want. I can also post and wonder what the hell your point or purpose was in making that post.
  12. yfinn6
What was the point of your post otherwise? Really fun game.
  13. yfinn6
    I'm glad you're having a good time.
  14. yfinn6
How'd it work out for him?
  15. yfinn6
That guy did something Rhys wasn't willing to do.
  16. yfinn6
Are you watching the same game we all are? Please tell me you're not because it's clear he didn't have anything.
  17. yfinn6
This really is inexcusable from Murphy. Now you're costing your bullpen way more work. Nice job, dummy.
  18. yfinn6
Nice Murph. What the hell are you doing. He has no feel for his fastball.
  19. yfinn6
Terrible strike 1 call to Chourio. Nevermind, knocks in 2 anyway.
  20. yfinn6
He and Garrett Mitchell have the same hole in the swing: fastballs over the heart of the plate.
  21. yfinn6
Welp, that was a stupid double play with Hoskins on deck.
  22. yfinn6
Terrible at bat Mitchell. No hope whatsoever he'd actually do his job there.
  23. yfinn6
    Rhys! Took the piano off.

In the not-too-distant past, it seemed like pitchers AND hitters would go to St. Louis and get better. Free agents, washed up players, young players, etc. I feel like that has completely shifted. The Brewers have been getting way more out of even their marginal bats and arms, and made mediocre pitchers look better than average. The Brewers are doing it and the Cardinals are not. That brings a smile to my face. I think the organization (Cards) is in big trouble and could be looking at a massive overhaul.

Thank you for putting into terms I can understand in the last sentence.
