As opposed to years past where the opposite was true, this team is finding ways to win despite the way they play at times. I'm a believer in the "x-factor" so to speak. Others on the this board don't, and I'm ok with that at it is hard to measure something that isn't really measurable and can disappear like a ghost (don't believe ). The Crew really has something extra going for it right now. We'll see how it plays out when the x-factor disappears for a bit and things don't go their way. Hopefully solid play will make up for it. I've got the song "Happy" looping through my little brain when thinking about the Crew and am still enjoying it!
Ugh. Recorded the game to watch later. Was glad I missed most of the third due to the earlier game running late. Really disappointed as I had so much hope for this year. Just ugh.
Congrats, as well, jjk!! Checking the bank account before buying a soda. That brings back memories. It seems like yester. . . nevermind. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Please do not call me precisely 22 seconds after sending me an e-mail asking if I got your e-mail about a service request. I have a tendency to go on coffee breaks when I hang up the phone. The curmudgeon is back.
If the Lakers get the first pick, I vow to pack what little NBA stuff I own in a box and send it to the league offices. The message won't mean jack squat to them as they are already laughing all the way to the bank, but at least I won't have to see that stuff anymore.
Spring training games on tv. Just seeing them is proof winter will eventually lose its grip on us. EDIT: Plus, a forecast of 43 for Monday. About time!! BTW, the resident curmudgeon has two posts in a row on the NOT Bugging You thread. C'mon folks!
Please don't turn your cell phone ringer on full blast (and ultra annoying) and then leave it in your cubicle and walk away for half an hour. This public service announcement has been brought to you by one really crabby, easily annoyed cubie dweller. Carry on. . .
Nice write-up on the Badgers on usatoday.com: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/bigten/2013/12/16/college-basketball-wisconsin-badgers-bo-ryan-influence/4042487/ I love the "40 minutes of mild irritation" quote.
Invader3k, I'm assuming you have it connected via a cable. Could the wireless function have been turned on by accident on the printer. This may cause "confusion" in the printer in its connection to the pc. Aside from the usual "update the drivers" advice, this is my best guess.
NMF, regarding the birthday present. I'm playing devil's advocate here, but could the present be too big or bulky to mail conveniently? Just something to keep in mind.
Between this and your avatar, I wonder if we were separated at birth... Ahh, somebody who appreciates the true classics! Randolph Scott!! EDIT: I forgot to add the partial inspiration for my handle here: Strange Brew.
