splitterpfj, thanks for the pics and post #16. I, and probably others, really needed that. Congratulations, Invader3k!! Remember, sleep is now optional http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
I'm so pessimistic, even my optimism has a negative side. How bad is it? Even if they win tomorrow, I'm afraid of them losing to the Classies in game 7 at home. . . on a grand slam. . . off Yo. . . by King Albert. . . while being no-hit. . . by Carpenter. Toldja it was bad - dementedly bad http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Win it for yourselves. The bitter taste of defeat in a playoff does not go away and only gets worse during the off-season. Conversely, the closer you are to defeat, the sweeter the taste of victory. (Great post, YoGasKpose!)
Listening to 620 this morning - Trenni said that D-back fans are acting like it's fait accomplii that this will be a 3 and out for them. While they should sell out playoff games well before now, it does show the short-term bandwagon attitude that they seem to have.
Now there's a blurb that Epstein would "embrace the challenge" of taking over the Cubs gm spot. Couldn't (shouldn't?) all this wait until after the playoffs? HBT link
