I hate bunting. If the bunt is good they just walk Shaw anyway. I know it's a philosophy thing but I just don't like it.

Dead ball, ump already called time Time shouldn't be called until the throw is completed by the outfielder. When the ball lands in the bleachers, then time should be called.

Either way Shaw was going to score on that play. The right fielder threw the ball back up into the bleachers when he picked it up.

When Shaw made two outs in the same inning tonight I think that it was the third time in the last couple of weeks that it has happened. Villar did it and I can't remember who the other player was.

One of the things I always liked about Robin was that he wasn't concerned with numbers and stuff but rather, all he seemed to care about was playing and winning the games. Getting rid of a bunch of memorabilia would seem to be consistent with that image.

I think you are confusing "crime to sport" with "crime to Packers fans". What Favre did was probably good for the sport. It temporarily intensified a rivalry that made the games more interesting and was financially beneficial for the sport. It could easily be argued that, in the long run, what he did was good for the Packers too.

Strain is a term that we use for a slight tear. Many times a slight tear is no big deal. The problem with a "strain" is that the athlete starts to feel good and goes out and pushes it too early. That is when it goes from a strain to a tear.

Hunter's press conference took a sad turn at the end. A writer for the St. Paul paper started asking questions about his political views, which Hunter didn't want to answer. Hunter ended up calling the writer a p---k and told him that he had ruined the press conference. -
