Taylor and Mike appreciate all the well wishes from Brewers nation. Taylor had a great time in MIL when he got to meet alot of you guys up close. If either guy is to be traded I know it's going to be a sad moment at first because of how well everyone has treated them.

And my source totally [removed] me on the Brantley not being included. I issued a retraction and apologized. Want to crucify me next time? It's ONE time in 5 years I wasnt dead on because my source was lied to. It happens. I dont owe you or anybody an apology but dont start attacking my credibility here, thats not what Im here for. As noted Mike is going to the fall league, or maybe the internet knows more than I do.

I promise the goodwill PR that has been generated by my occasional postings here have helped substantially more than if I wasnt saying anything. There is a big fan base here and I have made the players a lot of money thanks to my overall PR efforts, Mr. Jeffress and Mr. Brantley have both just signed substantial exclusive autograph contracts thanks to these efforts. How many minor league players could claim to have the overall endorsements my guys have? Not many. I dont have an obligation to the fans or to readers to relay information, I'm not a writer or a reporter nor have I ever claimed to be, nor do I "inside" information that would harm anybody that I represent. All I am doing is keeping the interest alive in my guys so they have a value that wouldnt normally be there. If it helps the fans out by giving them information not usually available then who gets hurt? That one poster wrote something as if I owed him something. Guess what? I don't, so without any level of malevolence or anger, just take it for what it's worth. If you like it great, if not who the hell cares, dont read it. Without being a 10 year old, take advantage of all this while its going on because I will not be doing this forever. I also don't care much for fans who seem to think they know more about my job than I do. It's just something that irks me but whatever, everyone is an expert who isnt doing it. And just to further respond to that one post, no, team officials dont call me out of the blue to clue me into the trade, but like anyone who is good at their job, dont you maybe think I have other people I could possibly talk to that might be able to get me the information I would need??? Just maybe isnt that possible??? I have "in's" on both sides of this trade and what I know has matched up on each side. This is the LAST time I am going to mention anything having to do with the trade because either way I cant win. Maybe I'm not even an agent at all? Fun. Green's 18 errors would be 4th most in the majors, so thats a pretty bad total. Combine that with pedestian range, and I see that as a player who is below average defensively. Again, I have not once said he can't play the position, but if he becomes a big league 3B, I don't think it will be because of his defense. His bat will have to carry him. Wow. Not a big fan of player developement and the minor leagues?

See, this is the kind of post thats fair and totally valid. Im completely biased and it's a totally fair complaint, but I cant change that at all. Like I always say, take what I say about my own players with a grain of salt. I think over time here though I have proven to be semi-reliable in not distorting my guys abilities however. I didnt see a ton of facts in X's post though, buzz words like limited upside, raw ability etc. 18 errors in the fsl isnt a bad year for a 3b especially not a natural 3b. Like I said though, ask anyone who has seen him play, he's a very very good defender.

You can chose to debate any way you chose, but tantrums are a bit unbecoming of a professional. I do appriciate your insight and inside information, and I understand your emotionalattachment to your clients. It's not an emotional attachment to my player. I have guys good at certain things, I have guys with flaws. Ive seen Green play a good 50 times, and to say or imply he's a branyon like defender, or just adequate screams of not seeing him play enough at 3b. He's an above average to plus defender at 3b and nothing you can read on the internet or stat sheets will ever show that. If you've seen him play in person enough to make that judgement based on your own information Ill just chalk it up to a different opinion. If you're basing it on what you've read, then well, it is what it is. I wasnt certain I still had a be a professional on a message board, Ill keep that in mind. In fairness to me, if I was more "professional" I wouldnt be here at all, I wouldnt be blogging and I most clearly wouldnt have any of the clients I have been fortunate enough to have. I like doing things the way I do now, I am sorry to disrupt your view of my "professionalism".

I was right, I was stupid to even attempt a defense here. I will just shut the hell up and watch everyone debate the players here.

Green is a plus defender, I know I cant comment every single time someone says something about one of my guys, but Green is a plus defender at 3b. All you have to do is watch him play or ask anyone he's played with. This characterization that he cant play third is beyond irrational. He's probably the best the Brewers have in the org. defensively at 3b. It's like when people say Brantley can't play center. Mike is a good CF but TG is an above average to plus defender at 3b.

I thought he was always going 100%? was, wasnt, now is again.
