I think it's important to be there for all of my players and when a trade happens I like to be there to help get them settled in, no matter what level they are at.

Press release going on the blog in a few..... As of right now both Taylor Green and Michael Brantley are both members of the Milwaukee Brewers organization and could not be happier with their respective situations. Michael and Taylor are both working very hard to achieve their lifelong goal of reaching the major leagues and will do everything the Milwaukee Brewers ask of them. There have been many rumors circulating lately that both players could be involved in the CC Sabathia/Matt Laporta trade. As of right now, nobody from either organization has contacted Michael or Taylor with regard to that transaction and until we hear otherwise both will continue to work as hard as possible for the Milwaukee Brewers. Michael is very much looking forward to playing in the Southern League All Star game this weekend while Taylor looks to build upon his strong first half in the Florida State League. Thank You Sincerely, Joshua A. Kusnick Vice President

I spoke to the reporter that "leaked" this. He is a very good reporter and got a pretty good vibe Mike and Taylor were the guys directly from shapiro. This is still JUST SPECULATION. I dont even know right now. Taylor doesnt know and Mike doesnt know. I am doing everything I can to find out but neither team is confirming or denying that Mike or Taylor are the guys involved. I truthfully have no idea why they dont just name the player now but I assume it is because CLE wants to do more research before picking the guy.

That is tough to see either of these go, but I would rather have it be Brantley in some ways, just because I feel like we will only have one outfield spot in the future. We need 2B and 3B prospects. The indians will pick who they want. That is my understanding now.

No, he's a star. Too bad I dont have him.
  21. agent39
Taylor Green HAS NOT BEEN TRADED. Not yet at least, it's only speculation and he has not heard from the team.
  22. agent39
Cain is 100 percent not in this deal. Brantley is 200 percent not in this deal. Bryson and Laporta have 100 percent been dealt. Those are the only things I am 100 percent sure of.

This earlier post has me wondering about the rules regarding PTBNL now, if there are any. Or is it just that it's highly unusual to see those with the mandatory experience and/or not on the DL turn out to be PTBNL? Im an idiot and underestimated something. I guess Cleveland wants to scout the PTBNL more in depth and thats one reason that player hasnt been named. Sorry I did not take that into account. On the other hand they could be lying.
