Headed to maryvale now. Will update blog later. A few nights ago all 11 of my brewers and myself went to gameworks. Sheer hilarity ensued. J

It's not expense free. They have to pay for food/rent/utilities etc...... That 1500 doesnt go real far. And the guys without an agent or have a bad agent need to pay for their own equipment too.

Atlee had a tryout with the brewers in Texas a few weeks ago, he threw well in front of a few people that mattered and then he signed a contract with the team. We've had Thomas forever, he was one of our first guys. Client list needs some tweaking because a few guys have left us or have retired. No database of agent representation, usually the team contacts the player or if they know the agent, just calls them. We haver a good relationship with Mil so this wasnt a real big surprise. Keep you all posted J

heard a ton of rumors, nothing came to fruition.

Yep, decisions certainley will have to be made. Gamel is a plus hitter, Taylor is more well rounded and younger. We will see what happens. Of all the guys I dont represent Im a huge fan of Mat. About Cain/Brantley/Ford, guys like cole, charlie fermaint etc... somebody will get traded id imagine. I dont worry about stats in Helena, the brewers had a kid a few years ago , Jason Belcher 2001 Total .326 .394 .410 .803 38 144 23 47 2 23 15 16 0 So as always, until a guy proves his worth at the higher levels, or at the very least SAL, I dont put too much stock into stats. I mean look at Taylor Green.

Newton has to be a corner guy, he's so big. Taylor is a plus defender at third and Id imagine they're going to keep them there for the long term. Not that you asked but I know Brewer is staying at SS come hell or high water. Its not like they have an OF openings to move him to even if they wanted to (which they dont)

Unless something happens I think Luis has a great shot to make the team out of ST.

It honestly would not be a stretch to say darren is the fastest player to ever put on a uniform. He's faster than stocker and he's faster than gathright. He runs a legit 6.1 and his speed does translate to the diamond. Darren just needs to refine the other parts of his game and he will be fine.

Thanks! We've loved Michael since he was in high school. He's a local kid and it was just a matter of time. I think Im higher on Michael than anyone here!
