    I went to bed last night thinking I'd need to snow blow in the morning. I woke up and stepped out the door heading for work, I saw that the 300 mile an hour winds blew the snow right out of the driveway. Unfortunately, my lungs immediately freeze dried. I had never actually seen "liquid air" before today, so that was kind of neat.

    I'm gonna need a new toothbrush shortly. Perhaps I could write a song about that and make a muhzillion dollars.

    I think we may be close to solving my couch problem. I called the warranty company and it appears as if I may be getting the repair done for free.

    I've seen sucky weather before and this my friends, is some sucky weather. I'm becoming less and less a fan of blowing snow from my driveway only to have it blow right back into my face.

    I have a major problem here. Our couch has a recliner on each side and the one on my side gets frequent usage. I love sitting here. Unfortunately, the little handle you pull to release the footrest just broke. it's a pretty new couch. I hope it's still under warranty of some sort. If not, this could be a catastrophe.

    I'm wondering how Kenny the Houston Astro is doing right about now. I'm thinking I may go out in my yard, pack a snowball real good and tight, and place it in a cooler. I'd then take a flight to Houston, find Kenny, and smash him with it. I'm also thinking I really need to move someplace warm.

    Became a fan when my dad took me to my first game in the late 70's. Got totally into it right off the bat, a rabid fan throughout.

    This show will be every Monday from 8-10pm. Calling it for us will be Tim "The Franchise" Allen and Steve "Sparky" Fifer. Good to hear Brewers talk, good to hear baseball talk. I'm going to see if I can get us a bit of a preview for each week's show.

    Sorry for the late notice, but better late than never. WSSP 1250 AM will be launching this year's off season tonight. Show airs from 8pm-10pm and will be hosted by Tim Allen.

    Our whole house now smells like pine trees and cinnamon enhanced pine cones. Not only that, our location of the Christmas tree interferes with viewing the TV from the hallway.

    I wanted to see if during the last hour of today would have a dramatic impact on prices. It turned out there was no impact at all, no real price breaks I could see. I asked around to see if any of the game used bats would be lowering in price with the last hour of the sale. I was told no. I was told that the Brewers themselves regulate or set the price of game gear or equipment and the Fan Zone store had no ability to alter pricing on game gear. I was told that merchandise with the club's logo on it or fan souvenirs in general would remain at close out prices and be transported to the loge level store. That's all I got folks. I couldn't stay any longer than that. I was called away.

    I went to the clubhouse sale at Miller Park and wanted to see what the 2008 cards looked like. I grabbed a pack and saw that I got the Dye card. It's a gold card from what I found out, it is card number 274 and his this is #794/2008. Lemmie know if you want it. Post here to let folks know it's yours and shoot me a PM so I can get it to you.

    Well one thing is for sure. Jim Powell is a darn fine announcer. He is one of the very best in sports and we as Brewer fans would be at a disadvantage without him. I very much enjoy his play calling and I'd be saddened if he were no longer with the broadcast. I hope WTMJ realizes Powell's value and keep him around.
