  1. Banish them forever and ever.
  2. Bill Schroeder as he was boarding the staff elevator. The only thing I could think to do was give him a raspberry Laura- I have a whole new respect for you now. I mean I liked ya before, but now....
  3. I thought Horseys ran faster than that? Carlos out at second on what should have been a double.
  4. Poor Bad Chad. He is so overmatched in the big leagues he is just not able to catch up. That throw to first in the top of 5th off a bunt was just pathetic. Jenkins with the nice catch and then throw to the plate to get the runner. Very good play to keep it 2-0.
  5. That ball kind of got out in a hurry, but I thought that Jenkins should have gotten a better jump on that ball and maybe could have gotten a glove on it. The ball just cleared the wall, and I think it could have been caught. I think that Jones would have gotten to that ball.... Nice play by Wes Helms on a little nibber that was bare handed and just beat out the speedy Hunter.
  6. Perhaps this cloud cover and maybe a pair of sunglasses will convince Victor it's night time?? http://raffaello-network.com/item_images/es0014-mettalic-eather-001t.jpg He can borrow these if needed. I just hope we can get him some runs today. A s---- of the Twinkies would be quite nice.
  7. It's 12:25 p.m. and nobody started a game thread yet? Man! if I don't watch you guys all the time...... MIN: RHP Kyle Lohse ? 5-6, 4.95 ERA in 2005 @ MIL: RHP Victor Santos ? 2-7, 2.94 ERA in 2005 How crazy is Santos' season shaping up? The seven pitchers ahead of him are a combined 54-25, and all of them have winning records. The Brewers have averaged 3.35 runs in Santos' 15 starts, seventh-poorest in the league (Chris Capuano gets the fifth-worst run support, but somehow he's 7-6). The defense has failed him, too; Santos' seven unearned runs are 10th-highest in the league and account for 19.4 percent of the runs against him this season. The Brewers have scored 27 runs during their four-game winning streak, matching their run from May 23-27 against the Rockies and Astros. They have not won five straight since a run of seven wins from April 28-May 5.
  8. OK- we didn't get GP'd but we had a pretty good time at the bar. Grabbed a few PBR's on a 2/$3 special and shot darts. Greg and Heather are both quite good, and I was given quite a lesson the first game. I came back a bit in the second game but still lost. I sort of wish that I could have shownthem a better time, but since it was rainy and humid, we just hung out in one bar. Next time though they better watch out beause it'll be time for GP to get GP'd like never before.
  9. Well~ Brewermary15 is not gonna make it today, she's feeling a bit ill. I'm going to make her record the game though so that we can see if BF.net made the TV.
  10. Macgruder is now known as "Big Mac", he's worthy. TIE GAME AGAIN!!!!
  11. http://www.fund4horses.org/images/laughing_horse_acclaim_images.jpg TIE GAME
  12. If the Crew plays poorly tomorrow against the Twinkies, it's gonna be a rough night at Kelly's Bleachers. Make sure you locals show up for the game!
  13. Man. D. Lee is irritating the heck outta me right about now.....
  14. What kind of crap lineup is that? I'm pulling out my hair, I swear to god. What could you do instead?
  15. Yeah, Glendon is not in a Brewer uniform anymore so he seems to be a different guy out on the mound. I'd have to agree that this is not a total blowout, but I still think we should win the game.
  16. http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/121556.jpg This is former Brewer Glendon Rusch. Glendon is a south paw. As a Brewer, Glendon's paw didn't work very well. Here is a little information about Glendon: ? 5-3, 2.89 ERA in 2005 ? 1-0, 0.00 ERA vs. MIL in 2005 And now for Mr. Benjamin Sheets: Ben (or Big Ben as he's known around here) Right-handed ace Ben Sheets will make his 10th start of the season and his fifth since a five-week term on the disabled list with an inner-ear infection. He won his last start at Toronto by limiting the Jays to two runs, one earned, in eight innings of his longest start since the DL stint. He is 1-2 in three starts at Miller Park with an outstanding 1.40 ERA, including a win over the Yankees on June 7, when Sheets pitched seven shutout innings. ? 3-6, 3.19 ERA in 2005 ? 0-1, 5.14 ERA vs. CHC in 2005 http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/282656.jpg For all of you Butch Wynegar haters out there, here's a little something for you:
  17. Bill Freekin Hall is a MAD MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. If you're playing along with the Bill and Daron Drinking Game, there is a rule of take a drink when Brainerd does something stupid in an interview. After that air freshner bit, I'm thinking that you should slam an entire beer.
  19. Sometimes life just isn't fair, and if you're Victor Santos, that's the way this season must feel. Santos is 2-6 on the year, but in his last 10 starts, Santos has given up three runs or less. The problem is that in those starts, the right-hander did not get any support from his hitters. The Milwaukee offense is averaging just 2.8 runs per start for Santos. Pitching matchup: CHC: RHP Jerome Williams ? 0-2, 6.48 ERA in 2005 ? 0-1, 10.80 ERA vs. MIL in 2005 http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/425532.jpg @ MIL: RHP Victor Santos ? 2-6, 2.87 ERA in 2005 ? 0-0, 2.31 vs. CHC in 2005 http://www.derok.net/derok/images/classics/chocula%20head.gif
  20. 1. a "testing" area where people can attempt things like tables, etc. 2. I don't know if it's even possible, but could there be a "Baseball News" area that shows latest developments around the league? Is it possible to have a "crawler" at the bottom of that page? It would be a non-response format. 3. I'd really like to see an area that has links to newspapers from accross the league. Maybe that's something I could help out with right now.
  21. I've been trying to post since that -awesome- stab by Billy Hall but EZ board (or should I say difficult board?). Nice moon shot by Overbay off the video board, nice to see him coming around lately. Jenkins even had a hit tomight. Oh, and in case I can't get in here when Carlos does something really cool, I'm posting this picture right now. http://www.fund4horses.org/images/laughing_horse_acclaim_images.jpg Happy Birthday Mr.Lee
  22. Our Milwaukee Brewers are NOT in a position where we can afford to have bogus calls against us. Clark was safe at second. Cirillo tags one for a hit and we should have a run. Instead, it's still scorless for the Crew.
