    I think Cole Gillespie will be a nice replacement to Hart in the coming years. I would not give Hart the long term contract. We have too many good looking OFers in AA right now to commit to a league average player. I'd go with upside, myself.

    No matter what happens it was a great season and if we make it, I will be in a state of joy, but if we don't I'm not going to turn on the team or anything. Baseball is the greatest sport known to mankind and the great moments of this season can't be taken away by what happens tomorrow. This is the first time that game #162 has mattered for the Brewers in quite some time and I'm pretty happy with that. Despite us losing CC and Sheets next year I like our chances as our core players continue to develop and get better, but this is a great opportunity here to take advantage so let's do it. If we don't, though, Spring Training won't be able to come soon enough.

    I don't hate Ben Sheets. I've defended him for years. But I will tell you one thing: I won't miss him being gone. He's a great pitcher but the fact of the matter is when a big time outing is needed, he's never there because he's not durable enough to be an elite pitcher. He's just not reliable. Good luck in Houston, Sheets. Thanks for your time in Milwaukee, but it's time to move on.

    That's the age old question that makes me wish Kendall was not on our roster next year. I don't care how good he is with the pitchers. Bottom line is he can't hit and baseball managers just can't see that.
